Fall Inspired Cocktails

As we say goodbye to summer and embrace all the new flavors fall has to offer we need to re-think our cocktails. Enjoying a relaxing drink goes hand in hand with our mood, which can easily be determined by the climate around us.  As a we start to feel a chill in the air, our mood might reflect a desire to drink and eat something that appropriately fits the season.  Here are some suggestions to get you started.

Apple Cider Sangria

Wine is not the star of this sangria.  With apples at its peak it’s only natural to design a delicious sangria highlighting them.  Spike your favorite apple cider with apple brandy and add some zesty lemon juice to bring out its flavor.

Recipe: (makes 4 servings)

12 oz. apple brandy

1 pint of your favorite apple cider

1 lemon juiced

1 gala apple chopped

Apple Moscow Mule

The ever popular Moscow Mule can still be present during the fall.  Instead of mixing your traditional vodka, use an apple infused vodka, or an apple flavored one; add a splash of apple cider to this classic for some extra flare.
